.NOW...
AT 9:46 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS INDICATED A
LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS GRADUALLY SHIFTING
EASTWARD ACROSS EASTERN OKLAHOMA. GENERAL MOVEMENT OF THIS
ACTIVITY WAS TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST AT AROUND 20 MPH.

THROUGH 11:15 AM...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
ADVANCE EASTWARD...INCREASING IN COVERAGE OVER EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. AVERAGE HOURLY RAINFALL FOR MOST LOCATIONS
WILL VARY FROM ONE TENTH TO ONE QUARTER INCH. LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS OF OVER ONE HALF INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER
SHOWERS AND ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT OCCUR. BRIEF GUSTY WINDS OF 30
TO 40 MPH MAY ALSO ACCOMPANY THUNDERSTORMS. THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF
THE PRECIPITATION MAY ALSO LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING FOR SOME
AREAS.
