...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 07/09/15 TORNADO EVENT...

.OVERVIEW...AN NWS STORM SURVEY TEAM ASSESSED DAMAGE IN NORTHEASTERN
OKLAHOMA AND FAR NORTHWESTERN ARKANSAS THAT OCCURRED DURING THE
EVENING OF JULY 9TH. THE TEAM DETERMINED THAT TORNADOES HAD OCCURRED
IN EASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTY...NORTHERN ADAIR COUNTY...AND WESTERN
BENTON COUNTY. THE TEAM ALSO ASSESSED DAMAGE THAT HAD OCCURRED IN
EASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY ARKANSAS AND WESTERN MADISON COUNTY. THIS
AREA OF DAMAGE WAS DETERMINED TO BE THE RESULT OF 75 TO 85 MPH
STRAIGHT-LINE WIND.
