...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN MUSKOGEE...
SOUTHERN CHEROKEE AND SOUTHWESTERN ADAIR COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 530
PM CDT...

THE STORMS WHICH PROMPTED THE WARNING HAVE WEAKENED BELOW SEVERE
LIMITS...AND NO LONGER POSE AN IMMEDIATE THREAT TO LIFE OR PROPERTY.
THEREFORE THE WARNING WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE.  HOWEVER GUSTY
WINDS UP TO 45 MPH ARE STILL POSSIBLE WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.

IF ON OR NEAR LAKE TENKILLER...GET AWAY FROM THE WATER AND MOVE
INDOORS OR INSIDE A VEHICLE. REMEMBER...LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE OUT TO
15 MILES FROM THE PARENT THUNDERSTORM. IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU
ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. MOVE TO SAFE SHELTER
NOW. DO NOT BE CAUGHT ON THE WATER IN A THUNDERSTORM.
