A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT...

FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 * IN OKLAHOMA...CHEROKEE...ADAIR...CREEK...OKFUSKEE...OKMULGEE...
   WAGONER...TULSA...ROGERS...MAYES...DELAWARE...OTTAWA...
   WASHINGTON...OSAGE...CRAIG...NOWATA...PAWNEE...SEQUOYAH...
   MCINTOSH AND MUSKOGEE. IN ARKANSAS...WASHINGTON...MADISON...
   CRAWFORD...BENTON...CARROLL AND FRANKLIN.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...
 * LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW HAS DEVELOPED ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
   ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44 THIS MORNING. THE SNOW WILL
   CONTINUE TO SPREAD EAST ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND
   NORTHWEST ARKANSAS INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS.

   1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED THROUGH
   EARLY THIS EVENING IN MUCH OF THE AREA NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40.
   A NARROW BAND OF 3 TO 4 INCH ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE
   WITHIN THE ADVISORY AREA...MOST LIKELY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
   NORTH OF U.S. HIGHWAY 412.

   IN ARKANSAS...2 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE. SOME
   HEAVIER AMOUNTS AROUND 3 INCHES ARE LIKELY OVER SOME OF THE
   HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHERN CRAWFORD AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES IN
   ARKANSAS...WITH MANY LOWER VALLEY LOCATIONS OF THESE TWO
   COUNTIES SEEING LESS THAN ONE INCH.

IMPACTS...
 * SOME ROADS IN THE ADVISORY AREA WILL LIKELY BECOME SLICK AND
   HAZARDOUS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND NON-
   TREATED SURFACES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
 * USE EXTRA CAUTION IF DRIVING. ATTEMPT TO STAY ON TREATED
   ROADWAYS. EXPECT TRAVEL DELAYS.
