THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ADJUSTED THE TIMING OF
THE WINTER STORM WARNING AND IT IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CST
THURSDAY...

FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 * IN OKLAHOMA...PUSHMATAHA...CHOCTAW...LE FLORE AND LATIMER. IN
   ARKANSAS...SEBASTIAN AND FRANKLIN.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...
 * MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY RAIN ONGOING ACROSS SOUTHEAST
   OKLAHOMA AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS WILL CONTINUE TO TRANSITION
   TO FREEZING RAIN...SLEET...AND FINALLY SNOW THROUGH THE REST OF
   THE AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING AS THE COLD AIR DEEPENS
   ACROSS THE REGION. THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE INTO
   THE EARLY MORNING HOURS BEFORE TAPERING OFF BY SUNRISE THURSDAY
   MORNING.

 * 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SLEET AND SNOW ACCUMULATION...AND UP TO AN
   EIGHTH OF AN INCH OF ICE ACCUMULATION ARE EXPECTED.

 * TRAVEL WILL BECOME VERY HAZARDOUS...AND BRIEF POWER OUTAGES ARE
   POSSIBLE IN SOME AREAS.

   EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...WITH LIGHT TO
   OCCASIONALLY MODERATE SNOW PERSISTING ACROSS NORTHEAST
   OKLAHOMA. THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL DIMINISH FROM NORTHWEST
   TO SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS...WITH ACCUMULATING
   PRECIPITATION LIKELY TO END BY MIDNIGHT.
