The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Hardin County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 212 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is
  0.5 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
  occurring on already saturated ground.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rainfall.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Beaumont, Lumberton, Kountze, Sour Lake, Saratoga, Thicket, Bevil
  Oaks, Honey Island, Batson and Votaw.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
