Chances for rain will continue across much of the region today,
especially in southern Canada and later in the day throughout
South Dakota. High temperatures this afternoon are expected to
range from the mid 40s in southern Saskatchewan to near 60 in the
southern Red River Valley.

Drier weather is expected for the weekend. Saturday will remain
seasonably cool with highs in the lower 50s to lower 60s. Sunday
will be warmer with highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s, but also
windy across the western half of the region.

Early next week with feature periods of rain and a few
thunderstorms as a strong low pressure system moves into the
region. Daytime temperatures will remain near to below normal
through the upcoming work week.
