...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FOR IRONDEQUOIT CREEK UNTIL 6 AM EDT
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of western New York, including the following
  county, Monroe.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations along
  Irondequoit Creek is occurring, particularly in the Ellison Park
  area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 413 PM EDT, Flooding is ongoing in the warned area.
    Between 1.25 and 1.5 inches of rain has fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Rochester, Irondequoit, East Rochester, Brighton and
    Penfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring. It is important to know where you are
relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in
heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.
