.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for portions of northwest
Georgia through 10AM this morning. Skies will gradually clear from
east to west today, from cloudy this morning to mostly sunny this
afternoon. Negligible rain chances during the day today. Minimum
values of relative humidity will be in the 30 to 40 percent range
east of I-75 and in the 40 to 50 percent range to the west. 20-ft
winds will be light (6 mph or less) out of the southwest, and
transport winds will be out of the same direction at 6-11 mph.
Tomorrow, chances for showers and isolated to scattered
thunderstorms return, and will spread from north to south through
the mid-afternoon. Highest rainfall totals will be across north
Georgia -- where they will range from 0.75-1.25" -- and less than
0.5" elsewhere. Minimum RH will fall between 45 and 60 percent.
20-ft and transport winds will be out of the west at 6-8 mph and
7-14 mph, respectively.
