...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN NANCE...CENTRAL
HAMILTON...MERRICK AND POLK COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT...

At 413 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Shelby to 7 miles northwest of Stromsburg
to near Marquette to 6 miles northwest of Aurora. Movement was north
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Central City, Clarks, Marquette, and Hordville around 420 PM CDT.
  Silver Creek around 425 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. On rare occasions they can briefly touch down, producing
wind gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted move indoors
and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
