In 1990, Goodland experienced the latest major snow storm to ever hit the location. Heavy and wet snow fell nearly all day. Six and a half inches of snow accumulated at Goodland. The snow was very localized, and fell only in Sherman and Cheyenne Counties in Kansas and portions of eastern Colorado. $$
