...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN THOMAS AND RAWLINS COUNTIES...

At 620 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of
Levant, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported quarter size hail along
         Interstate 70 near Brewster.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Atwood, Levant, Ludell, and Blakeman.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 40 and 49.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northwestern
Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
