.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A strong disturbance aloft will bring a threat of thunderstorms
tonight through Saturday. A surface trough to the northwest of
Kauai will expand southward over the island chain tonight through
Sunday. The trough will dampen and shift west of the islands early
next week as high pressure builds to the distant northeast.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

.REST OF TODAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Wave Detail: East 4 feet at 7 seconds and south southwest 3 feet
at 17 seconds. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT...East winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Wave
Detail: East 3 feet at 7 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at 16
seconds. Scattered showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms.
.FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT...variable winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas 4
to 6 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 feet at 7 seconds, north northwest
2 to 5 feet at 10 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at 15
seconds. Scattered showers with a chance of thunderstorms.
.SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 6
feet. Scattered showers. A chance of thunderstorms on Saturday.
