The threat of any precipitation today is near zero, only some very light showers over the crests this afternoon for the worst case. As another upper level system moves into the region late tonight after 0300 a slim threat of showers exists. Friday, especially in the morning 0600-1300 the threat of showers increases for the region. The threat of thunderstorms comes in midday lasting into the very early evening hours on Friday. Then a dry pattern develops Saturday and lasts through most of next week. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (55-65 percent). Max temperature.....52-55. Min humidity........58-61 percent. Eye level winds.....East wind less than 3 mph until 0800 then slowly shifting from South to Northwest by 1300 increasing to 4-8 mph.
