The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Jackson County in northeastern Alabama...
  Southeastern Franklin County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 808 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of
  Skyline, or 17 miles south of Winchester, moving northeast at 40
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bridgeport, Cowan, Skyline, Sewanee, Anderson, Hytop, Bass,
  Jericho, Russell Cave National Monument, and Long Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Alabama...and Middle Tennessee.
