...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers...

  Ohio River at Portsmouth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Portsmouth.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 50 feet, lowland flooding affects southern Scioto
  County.  Backwater flooding occurs into the Scioto River, as well
  as along smaller creeks flowing into the Ohio River.  Flood waters
  expand across route 73, as well as State Route 239. Much of
  Portsmouth itself is protected by flood walls.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 50.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is cresting around 50.5 feet now. It
    will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.
