Coastal Waters Forecast for the Florida Keys

Florida Bay, Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef
to south of Dry Tortugas, and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
Mexico, including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Seas are given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the western Atlantic will maintain
gentle to occasionally moderate southeasterly breezes across the
Keys coastal waters through the weekend. Gentle southerly breezes
Sunday night will veer to the west on Monday, ahead of a cold
front that will move through the Keys waters Monday night. Fresh
northerly breezes are expected late Monday night into Tuesday
morning in the wake of the front, followed by diminishing
northeast to east breezes Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.

The Approximate Shoreward Edge of the Gulf Stream is currently
unavailable.
