In the wake of a blizzard affecting north central Nebraska Monday
night, arctic high pressure and dry air swept into western
Nebraska. Low temperatures this morning ranged from 1 degree above
zero at Gordon to 15 degrees at O`Neill.

Today, dry air and surface high pressure from Canada will remain
across the region producing clear skies in most areas. Winds will
increase to 10 to 20 mph with high temperatures ranging from the
mid 20s across north central Nebraska to 30s across western
Nebraska. Highs near 40 are predicted across far southwest
Nebraska.
