...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL RAPIDES...
NORTHWESTERN EVANGELINE...EASTERN BEAUREGARD...SOUTHEASTERN VERNON
AND NORTHERN ALLEN PARISHES THROUGH 400 AM CDT...

At 329 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Elizabeth to near Dry Creek to near
Oretta. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oakdale, Elizabeth, Turkey Creek, Dry Creek, Singer, Sugartown,
Mittie, Ragley, Grant, Longville, Allen Parish Airport, Tulla,
Beaver, Oretta, and Bundick Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
central, southwestern and west central Louisiana.
