...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Nevada...

  Owyhee River near Mountain City affecting Elko County.

.Warm temperatures will melt high mountain snowpack and increase
river flows.

For the Owyhee River...including Mountain City...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 700 AM PDT.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding along the river channel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:40 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 8.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage for
    the next several days.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
