Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana

.DISCUSSION...Morning precipitation wave will leave the forecast
area shortly after sunrise with mostly dry conditions and gusty
winds thereafter. Combination of warm highs and dry air mixdown
will account for minimum RH values as low as 30% in some places
during the afternoon while deep mixing heights and gusty winds
yield good to excellent dispersion. In addition, there is a low,
conditional threat of strong storms late this afternoon and early
evening. Greater storm chances are likely Thursday night into
Friday morning. Cooler and drier weather is in store for the
weekend.
