This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast New Mexico,
southwest Texas and western Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect this afternoon and evening
for Southeast New Mexico, the Upper Trans Pecos, the Permian Basin,
and Culberson County. Large to very large hail, damaging winds, and
locally heavy rainfall are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Near-critical to critical fire weather conditions are possible
Sunday though Wednesday from southeastern New Mexico to the Big
Bend.

An early season heatwave is forecast this weekend into early next
week.

conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
