.SYNOPSIS...A strengthening complex low pressure system near
Delaware Bay and the Delmarva peninsula will move NE along the
northern Mid-Atlantic and New England coasts this evening, while
a pair of trailing cold fronts moves E across the waters. Another
low will develop along the front over the southern and central
waters tonight. The low will drift E Sun and continue to
intensify, with the low passing E of the southern and central
waters Sun night. The intense low will remain nearly stationary
just E of the waters Sun night and Mon, and then begin to slowly
weaken Mon night into Tue night as it moves off to the SE passing
just W and then S of Bermuda. Mariners should closely monitor the
latest forecast, execute avoidance plans if in the area, and use
caution for the next few days as a prolonged period of gale to
storm force winds and building seas is expected, with a chance
for hurricane force winds mainly near the north wall of the gulf
stream Sun night and Mon. Otherwise, a weakening a high pressure
ridge will move E over the waters Wed, and dissipate Wed night as
a cold front reaches the coast and moves E across the area.
Another low will develop along the front off the Georgia and
South Carolina coasts Wed night, and will track E across the
waters Thu and Thu night while intensifying.
