...The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Oklahoma...

  Washita River near Dickson affecting Johnston, Murray and Carter
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Washita River near Dickson.

* WHEN...From this morning to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Overflow conditions extend along the
  Washita River in Murray... Carter... and Johnston counties. About
  2 thousand acres of bottomlands between Rock Creek near Dougherty
  and Lake Texoma are covered... with flood depths up to 5 feet in
  low places. Any flooding on tributary creeks is increased by
  backwater from the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Washita River is expected to rise to a crest
    of 25.2 feet this evening.
  - Action stage is 24.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
