.DISCUSSION...
Gusty south winds will continue this afternoon until around sunset
before wind speeds will begin to decrease. Winds will remain from
the south today and this evening with no significant wind shift
expected, just small variations between a south-southwest and south-
southeast wind. Mixing heights and smoke ventilation rates will be
excellent through the afternoon, but decrease quickly to poor
ventilation rates just before sunset as the low-level temperature
inversion becomes established again.
