.DISCUSSION...
Another mild and quiet night is ahead, with just a bit of patchy fog
possible across the deeper river valleys of southern West Virginia
late tonight.
An approaching cold front brings an increasing chance for showers
and thunderstorms late Friday afternoon into Saturday. The front
then washes out on Saturday, and, with the warm, humid air still in
place, and another upper level disturbance crossing, showers and
thunderstorms remain likely, with heavy downpours a good
possibility. Sunday could bring improvement late, especially across
the middle Ohio Valley, as the system begins to pull out, allowing
drier air to move in from the west.
The very warm, humid and unsettled weather pattern continues well
into next week, as a large, sluggish low pressure system and surface
cold front lumber toward the area.
