...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Louisiana...
Bayou Dorcheat At Dixie Inn affecting Webster, Bossier and
Bienville Parishes.
For the Bayou Dorcheat...including Springhill, Dixie Inn, Lake
Bistineau...Moderate flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Bayou Dorcheat at Dixie Inn.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Expect moderate to severe flooding of
bayou bottoms. The boat ramp park at Dixie Inn is completely
flooded at this point.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 AM CDT Thursday was 15.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.5
feet early Monday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
20.5 feet on 12/31/1938.
