.DISCUSSION...
After a thorough soaking through the evening and overnight hours,
conditions will be relatively quieter across the ArkLaTex fire
districts today. Rains will come to an end from west to east through
the morning, with skies gradually clearing to follow. Minimum
relative humidity values will range between 50 and 70 percent, while
mixing heights peak between 2000 and 5000 ft during the midafternoon.
South winds will become variable and lighter behind the storms, eventually
becoming more westerly and northwesterly today as a surface
boundary passes through the region. Gusts of up to 25 kts will be
possible early in the forecast period but will quickly drop off
behind the departing storms.
