...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Coleman, McCulloch and San Saba.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 857 PM CDT, Thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall from
    Melvin to Brady to Hall and Richland Springs were moving
    southeast at 30 mph.Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Brady, San Saba, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee,
    Melvin, Rochelle, Placid, Voca, Sloan, Camp San Saba,
    Mercury, Skeeterville, Brady Lake, Lohn, Pear Valley,
    Waldrip, Calf Creek, Salt Gap and Doole.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    South Blackburn between Adkins and 13th, White Street at Live
    Oak Creek, 17th Street between Pine and College, FM 1851
    crossing Tiger Creek, Hallum Draw, South High between 14th
    and 15th Streets, FM 0503 crossing Waloope Creek, County Road
    120 crossing East Cow Creek, FM 1028 crossing Corn Creek and
    FM 1121 crossing Onion Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
