out to 60 nm
335 PM EDT Tue Apr 9 2024

.SYNOPSIS...

The Small Craft Advisory that was in effect for the waters west
of Apalachicola has been cancelled as conditions have fallen below
20kt. Southeast to south winds will ramp up again from late
tonight through Wednesday night in advance of a vigorous cold
front. Southerlies are likely to peak as gales on Wednesday night,
or at least exhibit frequent gale- force gusts. Following the
cold frontal passage on Thursday, a turn to strong westerlies is
expected. Winds will start to decrease on Thursday night, but it
will take until about Saturday for the churned-up Gulf waters to
settle down.
