The day is starting out nice once again with mostly sunny skies
across west central and southwest Florida. It is a little on the
muggy side though with temps already in the mid to upper 70`s with
dew points in the low 70`s. Rain chances remain on the low side
today with only a slight chance of a stray shower or storm,
primarily along the sea breeze during the late afternoon and evening
hours. No changes needed to current forecast.

Prevailing VFR conditions with winds less than 10 knots expected
through the forecast period. Rain and storm chances remain on the
low side, so will no include any mention of SHRA or TSRA at any of
the terminals at this time.

Issued at 908 AM EDT Thu May 2 2024

High pressure near Bermuda continues to ridge westward over Florida
and into the Gulf of Mexico and will dominate the weather with
mostly rain-free conditions through the week and into the weekend.
Winds will remain 10 knots or less and seas 2 feet or less making
for pleasant boating conditions through the week. A sea breeze is
expected close to the coast each afternoon and evening.
