THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEASTERN WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE NORTHERN ROCKIES AND
INTO THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS LATE TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.
THIS SYSTEM WILL MOSTLY IMPACT NORTHEAST WYOMING AND SOUTHWEST SOUTH
DAKOTA AS IT MOVES ACROSS THE REGION. PRECIPITATION WILL INITIALLY
START AS RAINFALL THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE RAIN WILL
EVENTUALLY CHANGE OVER TO SNOW LATER TONIGHT AS COLDER AIR FILTERS
IN. THE HEAVIER SNOWFALL WILL THEN END EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

AT THIS TIME...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
ACROSS THESE LOCATIONS. HOWEVER THERE STILL REMAINS SOME UNCERTAINTY
WITH REGARD TO THE EXACT TRACK OF THE SYSTEM AND WHEN THE CHANGE OVER
TO SNOW WILL OCCUR. THIS COULD GREATLY IMPACT ACTUAL SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS. MONITOR NOAA WEATHER RADIO...LOCAL RADIO OR TELEVISION...OR
THE INTERNET FOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY.
