This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western South Dakota and
northeastern Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A bit of light snow may occur tonight into Saturday, but
accumulations will be minor. A bit of freezing rain is possible
over northeast Wyoming.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A strong storm system will impact the region Sunday and Monday as
it drives arctic across the area. Heavy snow may occur with this
system, particularly Sunday night into Monday morning. Confidence
with the timing and magnitude of this storm is growing, but still
expect changes to snow amounts and locations.

Wind chills Sunday night may dip to 10 below to 25 below zero.
Wind chills Monday night may dip to 20 below to 35 below zero.


Spotter activation will not be needed today.
