...RAIN CHANGING TO SNOW TONIGHT ACROSS NORTHEASTERN WYOMING AND
   SOUTHWESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEASTERN WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE NORTHERN ROCKIES
TONIGHT AND INTO THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS ON SUNDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL
MOSTLY IMPACT NORTHEAST WYOMING AND SOUTHWEST SOUTH DAKOTA AS IT
MOVES ACROSS THE REGION. PRECIPITATION WILL INITIALLY START AS
RAINFALL LATE TODAY AND THIS EVENING. THE RAIN WILL EVENTUALLY CHANGE
OVER TO SNOW LATE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT AS COLDER AIR FILTERS
IN. THE HEAVIER SNOWFALL WILL THEN END EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF
NORTHEASTERN WYOMING...THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL BLACK HILLS...AND
EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY
BE OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THESE AREAS. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO
AN INCH OR TWO CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE REST OF SOUTHWESTERN
INTO SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SNOW WILL TAPER OFF ACROSS NORTHEASTERN WYOMING AND SOUTHERN SOUTH
DAKOTA SUNDAY MORNING. GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS
THE PLAINS SUNDAY MORNING...WITH WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 45 MPH
POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEASTERN WYOMING AND WESTERN SOUTH
DAKOTA. PATCHY BLOWING SNOW IS LIKELY ACROSS NORTHEASTERN WYOMING IN
THE MORNING.
