...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 05/22/16 TORNADO EVENT - UPDATE #1...

...Two Tornadoes were confirmed in South Central South Dakota...

During the early evening of May 22, 2016 a tornado touched down
about two miles east of the Littleburg School. Eight to ten power
poles were snapped at the ground and several large trees were
heavily damaged.

Another tornado was confirmed in Tripp County, about 10 miles
southwest of Winner. More information about this tornado will be
available on 05/24/16.
