.DISCUSSION...THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX WILL RANGE FROM THE
MODERATE TO HIGH CATEGORIES TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN
THE 40S ON THE PLAINS WITH MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY RANGING FROM
30 TO 40 PERCENT. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED TODAY.

ON THURSDAY...THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX IS EXPECTED TO
RANGE FROM THE LOW TO MODERATE CATEGORIES.

ON THE GROUND...INDICATE THAT THERE IS A MODERATE TO HIGH
POTENTIAL FOR A FIRE OCCURRENCE. OUTDOOR BURNING SHOULD BE
RESTRICTED TO EARLY MORNING OR EVENING HOURS WHEN WIND SPEEDS
ARE USUALLY LOWER AND THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS HIGHER.
