.DISCUSSION...THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX WILL RANGE FROM THE
LOW TO VERY HIGH CATEGORIES TODAY. MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED
BY LATE MORNING MOST PLACES AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE
REGION. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 45
MPH WILL BE COMMON ACROSS MUCH OF THE WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA
PLAINS...STRONGEST OVER NORTHWEST SOUTH DAKOTA. HIGHS WILL BE IN
THE 70S AND 80S...WITH THE MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY FALLING TO
AROUND 25 TO 30 PERCENT.

ON SUNDAY...THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX IS EXPECTED TO BE IN
THE LOW TO HIGH CATEGORIES.
