...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ZIEBACH...
NORTHEASTERN MEADE AND SOUTHEASTERN PERKINS COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM
MDT...

At 251 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 3
miles northwest of Red Scaffold, or 16 miles southeast of Faith,
moving north at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea to penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Ziebach, northeastern Meade and southeastern Perkins Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
northwestern and west central South Dakota.
