...AIRPORT WEATHER WARNING FOR FREEZING/FROZEN PRECIPITATION...

.ONSET/END TIMES...
7 PM CST through 4 AM CST Tuesday.

.ACCUMULATIONS/PRECIP TYPE/TIMING...
Beginning as rain/sleet mix through 8 pm, then a mixture of
sleet/snow (possibly mixing with rain initially) between 8 pm
through 10 pm, with gradual transition to snow late evening,
heaviest occurring through 2 am CST, transitioning to some very
light snow or flurries through the remainder of the pre-dawn hours.

Accumulations of sleet less than 1/10th of an inch and snow less
than an inch afterward. We`ll revisit conditions at 4 am CST
Tuesday.

.TIME/S/ TEMPERATURE FALLS BELOW/RISES ABOVE FREEZING...
Falling below freezing between 9-10 pm this evening, possibly
rising to around freezing briefly Wednesday afternoon, but
sustained more well above freezing late morning Thursday and
beyond.

Wind chill values currently in the lower 30s will fall into the
20s through mid evening, then into the teens by midnight. By
daybreak Tuesday morning, wind chill values between 10 and 15
degrees above zero can be expected. Outdoor ramp employees are
recommended to wear layers of clothing behind heavy coats to
help insulate from the wind and bitter cold conditions.

.LIQUID PRECIP RATES GTE ONE HALF INCH AN HOUR ONSET/DURATION...
Not expected.

.OTHER THREATS/REMARKS...
Very gusty north winds 25 to 30 mph, with gusts to between 35 to
40 mph possible for a few hours this evening, before settling to
around 20 mph with gusts occasionally in excess of 30 mph late
evening and beyond.
