.Summary...
October 2017 was definitely an interesting month at Pine Bluff. On
the whole, the month was above average in terms of temperatures, but
it ended up being cooler than the last few Octobers.

There were some pretty wild temperature swings this month. Daily
readings ranged from around five to 15 degrees above average during
much of the first half of the month, with temperatures really
crashing the final week, ranging from around five to near 20 degrees
below average.

There were 90 degree temperatures during the 2nd week. But, by the
fourth week, we were seeing temperatures well below freezing.

Rainfall this month was significantly below average. That being the
case, it was still the wettest October since 2015, as rainfall in
October 2016 was a bit less than this year.

No snow fell during the month.

The average high temperature was the coolest since 2015. The average
low temperature was the coolest since 2012. The average monthly
temperature was the coolest since 2013.

.Daily Temperatures...
Daily temperatures were above average on 16 days, below average on
11 days and average on four days.

None.

.Monthly Rainfall...
Rainfall was significantly below average. However, this October saw
more rainfall than last year. Technically, this was the wettest
October since 2015.
