Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out to 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Stronger winds and higher seas are expected the rest
of the week with a tightening pressure gradient between building
surface high pressure over the Southeast U.S. and a developing low
pressure system in the Central Plains. Small Craft Advisories
may be needed at times for the Lower Texas coastal waters. Light
to moderate southeast winds and low to moderate seas are expected
this weekend as the gradient relaxes, but Small Craft Exercise
Caution conditions will be possible.

15 knots after midnight. A light chop on the bay increasing to a
moderate chop after midnight. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast around
20 knots late in the afternoon. A moderate chop on the bay
increasing to choppy late in the afternoon. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds around 20 knots diminishing to
10 to 15 knots late in the evening, then becoming south around
20 knots after midnight diminishing to 10 to 15 knots early in
the morning. Choppy on the bay subsiding to a moderate chop late
in the evening, then increasing to choppy after midnight
subsiding to a moderate chop early in the morning. Slight chance
of showers.
