HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI
450 AM CDT THU AUG 21 2014

...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN COULD RESULT IN SOME FLOODING
TODAY AND TONIGHT...

AT LEAST 2 ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THE NEXT 24
HOURS...ONE THIS MORNING AND ANOTHER LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS
EVENING. THE RAIN PRODUCED BY THE STORMS COULD RESULT IN AT LEAST
SOME MINOR FLOODING ACROSS CENTRAL AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

AS OF EARLY THURSDAY MORNING...IT APPEARED THAT THE HEAVIEST
RAINS TODAY AND TONIGHT WILL FOCUS ON SOUTHWEST AND SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN. HOWEVER...THE EXPECTED RAINFALL ACROSS CENTRAL AND
EAST-CENTRAL WILL PROBABLY STILL BE SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE SOME
PROBLEMS SUCH AS STANDING WATER IN DITCHES AND IN LOW-LYING AREAS.
IN ADDITION...THE RAIN WITH SOME OF THE STORMS WILL BE HEAVY
ENOUGH TO CAUSE SOME TEMPORARY PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND IN
URBAN AREAS...WHICH MAY IMPACT TRAVEL AT TIMES.

LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA FOR THE LATEST
UPDATES ON THIS SITUATION.
