...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

the Flash Flood Watch continues for

* East Slopes of the Washington Cascades, primarily the Jolly
  Mountain and Norse Peak Burn areas.

* Through Thursday evening.

* Periods of heavy rain will occur tonight through Thursday.
  Rainfall rates of greater than a quarter inch per hour are
  possible. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
  by Thursday evening.

* Increased runoff, rockslides and debris flows will be possible
  in and around the burn scar areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
