EASTERN OREGON AND SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON. THESE STORMS WILL BE SLOW
MOVING AND MAY CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DOWNPOURS AT SOME LOCATIONS.
FLASH FLOODING OR DEBRIS FLOWS ARE POSSIBLE IN AREAS NEAR STEEP
TERRAIN.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF CENTRAL OREGON AND NORTHEAST OREGON...INCLUDING
  THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL OREGON...JOHN DAY BASIN AND
  OCHOCO-JOHN DAY HIGHLANDS. IN NORTHEAST OREGON...GRANDE RONDE
  VALLEY...NORTHERN BLUE MOUNTAINS OF OREGON...SOUTHERN BLUE
  MOUNTAINS OF OREGON AND WALLOWA COUNTY.

* THROUGH THIS EVENING

* SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED AGAIN TODAY. THESE
  THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN OVER AREAS
  THAT HAVE RECENTLY RECEIVED PLENTY OF RAIN. EXPECT RAINFALL
  RATES OF ONE HALF TO ONE INCH OF RAIN PER HOUR WITH SOME STORMS.
  THIS WILL THREATEN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST OREGON WITH
  FLASH FLOODING OR DEBRIS FLOWS.

* EXPECT STANDING WATER ALONG ROADWAYS WHERE HEAVY RAIN FROM
  THUNDERSTORMS OCCURS...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS THAT HAVE POOR
  DRAINAGE. THE MAIN THREAT WILL BE DEBRIS FLOWS IN AREAS OF STEEP
  TERRAIN. SHARP RISES ALONG RIVER AND STREAMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
