  Des Moines River at Des Moines SE 6th St affecting Polk County.

  Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Kossuth and
  Humboldt Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Des Moines River at Des Moines SE 6th St, or from
  below the Center Street dam...to Runnells.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, the bike trail is closed east of Water
  Street. Water affects portions of other bike trails.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.5 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 24.1 feet tomorrow
    evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Des Moines River at Fort Dodge, or from the municipal
  power dam...to Lehigh.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, water affects lowland areas near the river
  and threatens residences along the river in Fort Dodge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.8 feet and steady.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain around 10.8 feet
    thorugh Wednesday afternoon. Then, it will slowly fall below
    flood stage around Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt, or from Joe
  Reasoner Dam...to the East Fork Des Moines River.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, water impacts some homes along Country
  Club Drive.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.0 feet and falling.
  - Forecast...The river is around flood stage this evening and
    will fall below flood stage to 9.9 feet. It will then rise
    above flood stage Thursday evening to a crest of 10.1 feet
    Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The East Fork Des Moines River near Algona, or from
  Buffalo Creek near Burt...to Lotts Creek near Livermore.

* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, US 169 south of Algona is threatened and
  some rural roads flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.6 feet and steady.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0
    feet Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr, or from Walnut
  Creek...to the Des Moines River.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.3 feet, George Flagg Parkway is closed from Park
  Ave to SW 30th Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.8 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 12.1 feet tomorrow morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
