.Major flooding continues along the Pecatonica and Rock Rivers. Multiple
areas of ice jam activity will cause portions of the Rock River to
experience higher levels of flooding.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 48 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 12:30 PM Friday the stage was 13.4 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, Fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Rock River near Joslin.
* Until further notice.
* At 12:45 PM Friday the stage was 18.2 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity: The river is cresting now. Movement in
  ice jams and possible break up of ice jams upstream of Joslin
  through Prophetstown will produce highly variable river levels,
  with possible rapid rises and falls. Impacts may be higher and
  lower than expected from the observed river stage due to the
  variable ice conditions.
* Forecast, Fall to 17.7 feet Saturday morning.
* Impact, At  18.3 feet, Water affects the railroad tracks near
  Osborn.

* At 12:30 PM Friday the stage was 14.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity: Movement in ice jams and possible break up of
  ice jams upstream of Joslin through Prophetstown will produce highly
  variable river levels, with possible rapid rises and falls.
  Impacts may be higher and lower than expected for the observed
  river stage due to the variable ice conditions.
* Forecast, Rise to 15.6 feet Saturday morning, then begin falling.
* Impact, At  15.5 feet, Water affects the intersection of Highways
  150 and 6. Steel Dam is under water in Milan.
