...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...


  Platte River Near Cozad Affecting Dawson County with a second
  crest coming this weekend.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Platte River Near Cozad.
* At  6:00 PM Friday the stage was 6.5 feet. The south channel stage was 9.53 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.5 feet. The south channel flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to rise above flood stage again
  and crest around 6.6 feet Saturday. While the river
  may drop a bit after crest...it is expected to remain near the
  6.5 feet flood stage into next week. For reference...the crest
  earlier this month was 6.7 feet. It is important to remember
  this forecast is  based on water which is already in the Platte
  River basin. Changes to the forecast water level will be
  possible should substantial rainfall be realized across
  the basin through south central or western Nebraska at
  anytime this week or next.
* at 6.5 feet...Minor lowland flooding occurs as both banks overflow.
