PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

PEOPLE WITH INTERESTS ALONG THE RIVER SHOULD TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO
PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM THE FLOOD WATERS.

  THE GREAT PEE DEE AT PEE DEE.
* FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
* AT 8:00 PM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 7.6 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 19.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE TO RISE
  TO NEAR 21.4 FEET BY MONDAY MORNING. ADDITIONAL RISES ARE POSSIBLE THEREAFTER.
* IMPACT...AT 20.0 FEET...FLOOD WATERS WILL AFFECT SWAMPLANDS AND LOGGING
  INTERESTS. FLOOD WATERS WILL AFFECT TIMBERLAND AS FAR DOWNSTREAM AS YAUHANNAH
  TWO WEEKS AFTER THE CREST PASSES PEE DEE. LOGGING EQUIPMENT NEEDS TO BE MOVED.

* AT 8:00 PM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 7.0 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 10.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY LATE THURSDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE TO
  RISE TO NEAR 12.1 FEET BY SATURDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 12.5 FEET...FLOODWATERS CONTINUE TO RISE ON CREEKSIDE DRIVE AND
  EAST BLACK CREEK ROAD WITH WATER NEARING A FEW HOMES. HOMES ALONG EAST BLACK
  CREEK ROAD BECOME ISOLATED AND RESIDENTS MUST USE BOATS TO EXIT THE
  NEIGHBORHOOD.
