THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORMAN HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  ARCHER COUNTY IN NORTHERN TEXAS...

* UNTIL 230 PM CDT

* AT 1231 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH RAINFALL OF ONE AND A HALF TO TWO AND A HALF
  INCHES OF RAIN IN AN HOUR NEAR AND WEST OF ARCHER CITY. THIS HEAVY
  RAINFALL WILL SPREAD EAST TOWARD SCOTLAND. THE HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
  CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  ARCHER CITY AND SCOTLAND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS
WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS. TURN AROUND...DON`T
DROWN.
