The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Franklin County in east central Kansas...
  Northeastern Anderson County in east central Kansas...

* Until 200 PM CDT

* At 1057 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the
  advisory area. Doppler radar estimates that upwards of 5 inches of
  rain has fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Richmond, Greeley, Princeton, Lane and Rantoul.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 173 and 180.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
