FOR EAST CENTRAL PIMA COUNTY...

AT 234 PM MST RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN FELL ALONG BEAR CANYON...
SABINO CREEK...AGUA CALIENTE WASH AND THE UPPER REACHES OF TANQUE
VERDE CREEK. A GAUGE AT AGUA CALIENTE PARK RECORDED A HALF INCH OF
RAIN IN 15 MINUTES.

STRONG FLOWS IN MOUNTAIN STREAMS CAN BE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON.
IN ADDITION...LOW WATER CROSSINGS OF THE AGUA CALIENTE WASH WILL
ALSO BECOME FLOODED. REMEMBER NOT TO CROSS WATER RAPIDLY FLOWING
ACROSS A ROAD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
